“On-Ramp to CrossFit”
New Member Introduction to CrossFit
2 Week Class – 3 (1 hour) sessions per week

CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. We believe that health and fitness are synonymous. 

In this class 2 week, 6 session class, we will emphasize skill development and expose new members to the basic movements of CrossFit. The class is designed to prepare new members to enter our ongoing group classes with the knowledge to train safely and effectively. 

  • We will introduce you to technique and mechanics first, and then build intensity. 
  • Movements will become increasingly technical as we move through the classes. 
  • It is vital that you are here for each of the 8 sessions, as these movements build on one another. Consequently, if you are unable to attend a session it must be madeup prior to your next group class. These make-up days must be scheduled with atrainer and will be billed as separate fee. 
  • Each class, there will be a workout that covers the movements we have learned. 
  • These workouts will become progressively more challenging as the course progresses. 
  • The difficulty of these workouts is ultimately in your hand. We want to ramp you up to the level of intensity that is inherent in our group classes. 
  • This class is designed for you to build the knowledge to succeed not only inCrossFit, but your personal health goals. We will spend time talking about diet and lifestyle changes that can promote these goals. 
  • During your “On-Ramp” month, you are permitted to workout during normal group sessions. You will be assisted by the trainer in scaling the workout to yourability level. 
Your success in our group classes is our number one goal. We want our new members todevelop the skills that will help them progress as an athlete.

The cost of this class is covered in your first month membership. As a newmember, you must complete the 8 sessions within the first 3 months of membership.

If you feel that you already posses the skills needed to join our group classes, you may test out of the on-ramp program. The ability to safely perform CrossFit’s 9 fundamental movements will be determined by the trainer. They do not have to be perfect…just safe.
