Getting Started with Fundamentals
All new prospective clients who are new to Crossfit Smyrna will have to complete a two day Intro class to Crossfit. This class will cover the 9 fundamental movements of crossfit. The knowledge of terminology and proper mechanics has proven invaluable to the safety and success of any CrossFitter! Each class will last Three Hours. In the three hours we will cover all 9 fundamental movements of crossfit. From there, you will do a light warm up and finish with a WOD (work out of the day).
The fundamentals class will now be now $150.00 for non members and $75.00 for active and new members. Classes will be held every two weeks on Saturday following the workout session. 12:30 Pm- 3:30 Pm. To do that, you must either call the gym and schedule or email one of the trainers and have a date and time set up. These classes must be completed before your second month of crossfit training. This allowing everyone to sign up and start group sessions asap but will be guiding through beginner classes until completion of the Fundamentals class.
In the event you have a background in crossfit, either from another box, learning on your own from the main crossfit site, or a prior fitness background. You will be required to test out on the 9 fundamental movements. You do not have to have the movements perfected, but you will have to show that you are familiar with the movements and can perform the movements in a safe manner.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Hour One: The Warm Up Air Squat, Back Squat, Front Squat, Overhead Squat Dead lift
Hour Two: Shoulder Press Push Press Push Jerk
Hour Three: Kettle Bell Swing Sumo Dead Lift High
